Purpose of data processing

We process our clients' data solely to deliver our services: automation, AI training and custom builds. The specific data processed in an engagement is governed by the respective data processing agreement (DPA).

What data we process

Contact details: name, e-mail address, company, phone number where provided.

Engagement data: business data, documents and content that the client hands over to us in the course of an engagement or makes accessible through connected systems.

Communication data: contents and metadata of e-mails, contact form submissions and conversations.

Technical data: server log files (IP address, timestamp, browser identifier) to keep operations secure.

Processors

Depending on the configuration, we use the following processors to run our engagements:

Anthropic PBC for language model processing via the Claude API.
Microsoft Azure (Switzerland North, Zurich) as an optional hosting region for engagements that require strict Swiss data residency.
AWS Frankfurt as an EU hosting option for the application layer.

We have corresponding contracts (DPAs) in place with all processors. Which processors are used in a specific engagement is agreed in advance and recorded in the DPA.

Data transfers abroad

Where processing takes place outside Switzerland or the EEA, transfers are based on standard contractual clauses and additional safeguards.

Retention periods

Engagement data is processed for the duration of the engagement and, once it ends, deleted or archived as agreed in the contract. Contact enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are deleted after 12 months. Technical log files are deleted after 90 days.

Your rights

You have the right to obtain information about the data we hold about you, to have inaccurate data corrected, to have data deleted unless statutory retention obligations prevent this, and to withdraw any consent you have given, with effect for the future.

Cookies and web analytics

For the technical operation of the website we only use what is functionally necessary. In addition, we use Google Analytics 4 on our website inscribe.ch for statistical analysis of how it is used.

Google Analytics 4: the provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google Analytics uses cookies that allow us to analyse the use of our website (measurement ID G-J8H0N38B1R). The data collected includes, for example, the pages visited, the approximate location at city or region level, the browser and device type used, and where the visit came from. We use this data in aggregated form only, to understand how our website is used and to improve it. We do not combine it with other data or identify individual persons.

Google Analytics 4 does not store the IP address permanently. It is used briefly to determine the approximate location and then discarded. A transfer of data to servers of Google LLC in the USA cannot be ruled out. Such transfers are based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and on standard contractual clauses.

You can prevent collection by Google Analytics by installing the browser add-on provided by Google (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout) or by blocking cookies in your browser. Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP), we hereby inform you transparently about this processing. Prior consent is not required for it.

External fonts are loaded from Google Fonts.

Contact form

If you use our contact form, the details you submit (name, e-mail, company where provided, message) are used solely to answer your enquiry. The transmission is encrypted. We do not pass this data on to third parties without your consent.

Changes

We update this privacy policy when the legal situation or our processing changes. The current version is always available at inscribe.ch/en/privacy.
